" THE GENTLEMAN, sentenced to silence, enters a church after being lured in by the sound of a choir. He meets a repenting PRIEST kneeling alone at the altar. In search of answers, THE GENTLEMAN listens to THE PRIEST’s ramblings but little does he know that THE PRIEST worships someone, something much worse.
This film explores themes of how religion can be hijacked to prey on the vulnerable as well as how you can look in the wrong places for the answers that you seek. " - Jacob Saul, Director.
Sam and I aimed to emulate feelings of tension and suspense through our cinematography. The film is set in the early 20th century and the Director stated early on that his vision for the film was to look as if it was shot in that time period. To achieve this 'look', Sam and I partook in heavy research into early 20th century film which helped us fully understand what action we needed to take.
