'1977'

My second year final piece, '1977'. The winner of Best Animation at the 2021 Royal Television Society Student Awards. The judges noted how they could "feel the love and hard work that had gone into making it".

This short film is based on the travels of my father in 1977 when he was 22. '1977' was created entirely by myself during the lockdown of 2020. The film touches upon themes of loneliness and connection, a topic of conversation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
